FOOTPATROL X ADIDAS
The Taylor James Interactive team and Footpatrol London worked on a series of social media filters for the new Adidas IRAK A-ZX series trainer, based on designs from the NYC based collective of graffiti artists.
Adidas started the A-ZX line in in 2008. Each year is given a letter, and a stylish new piece of footwear is the result.
This year, the Footpatrol team wanted to commemorate the I for IRAK launch with something different.
Taking the campaign's graffiti inspired theme, we built graphic objects and animations that encapsulated the designs, and allowed followers to integrate them into their environment using Augmented Reality filters on Instagram. These were all animated in 3D and exported into our GLB-centric AR pipeline.

On the development end, The filters were coded in SparkAR, using plane detection, background segmentation, and PBR shading to allow the best lighting integration into the AR scene.
