Let Equality Bloom

For Vice Magazine‘s virtual parade we created a 3D float with this message behind it: equality should be a right for everyone, no matter their race, color, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity. Our float was inspired by the many flags, banners, and posters that fill the streets every Pride, as well as the powerful imagery we’ve witnessed in the recent Black Lives Matter demonstrations across the globe.

We were particularly struck by a banner featuring the phrase “Let Equality Bloom.” The message soon blossomed into our visual, made of colorful, hand-crafted paper flowers. With our virtual float this year, we wanted to show our support for the community, and make sure that the continued fight for equal rights for all is still seen, heard, and celebrated — loud and proud, just as it should be.
