We collaborated with Cramer Krasselt to create a charming character print ad featuring a cardboard box as the hero for Paper & Packaging Board. This was a great opportunity to explore character and environment previsualization. The goal was to create an inviting and charming final image.

We started the exploration for this project through concept art. The clients were provided with a lighting treatment to show how we’d like the final image to look: warm, inviting, and authentic. Once the concept art was agreed upon, we provided a detailed previs before shooting at the pear orchard. The previs guided the lensing, angle, and composition of the box character into which we would drop the landscape.

LIVE ACTION︱PHOTOGRAPHY

Working with photographer Harry Fellows, the shoot for this project was done at a pear farm in upstate New York to capture the environment. The actual day, unfortunately, was a bit overcast but an easy fix in retouch! Because of the work done in pre-production, we came to the set prepared with an exact image in mind that needed to be captured.
